Binders Full of Women: Live - Thursday 17th January

BINDERS FULL OF WOMEN
Thursday 17th January

When Mitt Romney claimed he had been given “binders full of women” by women’s organisations in Massachusetts, it was the moment that launched a thousand Tumblr memes. From the team that brought you Catechism: Poems for Pussy Riot, it also inspired this – a binder full of outspoken poems by writers who identify as female, trans, intersex or gender-neutral.

At this special reading, join contributors to the anthology as they share their work, their wit and their anger. All proceeds from the sale of these riots of glitter glue go to Rape Crisis UK and the Michael Causer Foundation.

With glitter glue, feminist cupcakes and readings/performances from Sarah Crewe, Nia Davies, Sarah Hesketh, Kirsten Irving, Rowena Knight, Agnes Marton, Sophie Mayer, Nat Raha, Shelagh Rowan-Legg, Jacqueline Saphra, Alison Winch and more!
